I drop my dainty traces
On pieces that I pen,
A past, a dream, a hope
Safely wrapped and hid!
A game of truth and lies
Is what you get to play,
Where I shall hide the truth
And you shall seek the lie!
You think I write from heart
Of things I live and love,
Maybe I really do
Or maybe I just don’t!
Well it is all yours
To guess if I’ve lived enough
To write of things I love
And say it all aloud.
